PSM I Practice Exam

This practice exam is designed to prepare you for PSM I. PSM I (The Professional Scrum Master level I) exam provided by Scrum.org and contains 80 questions. There are Single Choice, Multiple Choice and True/False type questions. You have 1 hour to complete the exam. To pass the exam, you need to score 85% (you must get at least 68 questions right).

To prepare for PSM I, carefully read Scrum Guide and Nexus Guide a few times (scrum.org – Resources). Go through Open Assesments on scrum.org and make sure you score 100% several times in a row. Finally take our practice exam several times.

Questions in this practice exam are similar to actual exam. There are 80 questions randomly selected from our question database which is updated regularly.

In PSM I, questions will be asked from following subjects:

Scrum Theory & Definition: Scrum is a framework within which people can address complex adaptive problems, while productively and creatively delivering products of the highest possible value. Scrum is founded on empirical process control theory, or empiricism.

Scrum Team: The Scrum Team consists of a Product Owner, the Development Team, and a Scrum Master. Scrum Teams are self-organizing and cross-functional.

Scrum Events: Prescribed events are used in Scrum to create regularity and to minimize the need for meetings not defined in Scrum. All events are time-boxed events, such that every event has a maximum duration.

Scrum Artifacts: Scrum’s artifacts represent work or value to provide transparency and opportunities for inspection and adaptation.
